So here I am, another Friday, opening up campaign (ad trade mag) to see yet more very important people (apparently), saying some very important things (I think) with the sourest look on their face they can muster. Why is it that advertising people especially don't smile. Does smiling connote you are stupid and a complete muppet?
Of the 34 headshots I counted 25 people not smiling or looking gruff, 8 half-smiles and only 1 big smile (which was from Brian the winner of BB). Ok maybe no-one else had just won a big prize but are things really that bad.
I think I need to campaign to bring back the smile to business. I think we could all use some positive energy.
